中国中煤能源集团有限公司简称中煤集团，是国务院国有资产监督管理委员会管理的大型能源中央企业，前身是1982年7月成立的中国煤炭进出口总公司，主营业务包括煤炭生产及贸易、煤化工、坑口发电、煤矿建设、煤机制造、煤层气开发，以及相关工程技术服务。现有全资公司、控股和均股子公司41户，境外机构4户，参股企业11户，在册职工12.1万。

China Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Coal Group) is a large central energy enterprise managed by the state owned assets supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. Its predecessor is China National Coal Import and Export Corporation, which was established in July 1982. Its main business includes coal production and trade, coal chemical industry, mine mouth power generation, coal mine construction, coal machinery manufacturing, coal bed methane development, and related engineering and technical services . At present, there are 41 wholly-owned companies, holding and average share-holding subsidiaries, 4 overseas institutions, 11 joint-stock enterprises and 121000 registered employees.
